DEP intends to enter into a Demonstration agreement with the Gryps Inc. for contract GRYPS-DEMO: DEP Contractor Payments Process Improvement and Automation Program project to test and evaluate the feasibility of an approach to making contractor payments in a timely fashion, from bureau review to audit to payment, without resorting to increasing headcount, as invoices submitted to DEP increases year on year . The demonstration project will allow for the Agency to test and evaluate AI review capability processing approximately 2,400 invoices annually across capital and expense categories; a realtime cashflow and encumbrance dashboard; structured subcontractor approval workflow replacing manual email and spreadsheet coordination; and forward-deployed engineering support, ongoing agent training, and full platform management.…
