Goods and Services. The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), on behalf of the Division of Human Resources, Office of Teacher Recruitment and Quality, is seeking proposals from accredited private institutions of higher education, experienced in providing teacher certification programs that result in producing high quality teachers for NYCDOE public schools. A separate solicitation will be released for services from public institutions from the City University of New York (CUNY) and the State University of New York (SUNY) systems. Since the inception of the New York City Teaching Fellows (NYCTF) program in 2000, the NYCDOE has worked collaboratively with vendors to prepare alternate route teachers for public schools throughout the city.
