Purpose
NY Office of Environmental Justice awarded $100K to Gowanus Canal Conservancy, INC. for Constructed Mussel Habitat in the Gowanus Canal: Education & Capacity Building. GCC will continue a partnership to build and test constructed mussel habitat in the Gowanus Canal and create educational opportunities for local students and community members as partners work toward long term habitat restoration along the Canal.
